About the Incubator

The Northern Adelaide Health & Wellbeing Partnership (NAHWP) Incubator supports bold, innovative ideas that improve health and wellbeing outcomes, economic growth and participation across Northern Adelaide.

As a cross-sector partnership, we bring together government, higher education, private, and not-for-profit organisations to test, refine, and scale initiatives.

How the Incubator supports your idea

Successful projects will gain access to a supportive ecosystem designed to turn ideas into action, including:

  • Partnership connections across diverse sectors and stakeholders
  • Mentoring and strategic guidance from experienced partners
  • Pilot and testing opportunities to validate your concept
  • Support to identify funding options

What we’re looking for

We are seeking innovative, high-impact ideas that benefit communities in Northern Adelaide. Projects should:

  • Align with one or more of the NAHWP’s Priority Pathways
  • Demonstrate potential for measurable impact and scalability
  • Encourage collaboration across sectors
  • Address emerging or unmet needs in the region.

Types of projects

We welcome a wide range of ideas at an early or emerging stage including (but not limited to):

  • Community programs or events
  • Cross-sector collaborations
  • Policy concepts or service improvements
  • New business ideas or start-ups
  • Commercialisation opportunities
  • Innovative health and wellbeing initiatives.

Application process

  • Complete the short online application form (under 5 minutes) provide a high-level “elevator pitch” of your idea
  • Submissions are reviewed regularly on a rolling basis
  • Shortlisted applicants will be invited to further develop their concept and pitch to partners

Submission tips and pointers

  • Clearly and briefly explain the problem and your proposed solution
  • Highlight the key benefits for Northern Adelaide communities
  • How your idea could grow or be scaled over time
  • How the Partnership can help support or resource your idea
